Sister Rosetta Tharpe - Up Above My Head
Whoever said, that “women can’t rock”, should think twice. Ot they sould at least check out Sister Rosetta Tharpe and her rockin’ guitar solo in this youtube clip. Starting out as a simple gospel song Rosetta tears it up with her guitar solo starting at about 1:22. The fact that she plays a Gibson SG brings her way closer to Angus Young than any AC/DC wannabe from the last 30 years.

Feldhase attackiert Frau in Linz - ooe.ORF.at
Eine Begegnung der unheimlichen Art hatte Montagvormittag eine 74-jährige Frau in der Linzer Wallnerstraße. Sie, ihr Mann und Polizisten wurden von einem Feldhasen attackiert.

Die Frau wollte gegen 8.00 Uhr in ihrem Garten am Froschberg ihre Wäsche aufhängen, als plötzlich der ausgewachsene Feldhase vor ihr stand.

Das Tier biss der 74-Jährigen in den Fuß, woraufhin die Pensionistin zu Boden fiel und sich anschließend im Haus versteckte. Der 78-jährige Ehemann der Frau versuchte danach den Hasen aus dem Garten zu verscheuchen, doch ohne Erfolg. [mehr...]

Steely Dan Unveils Spring Tour Dates - Billboard
Steely Dan will return to the road for a spring/summer run that begins May 5 in Memphis. The group, which also toured last summer, has dates on tap through June 10 at New York’s Beacon Theatre, the last of a three-night stand at the venue. Other highlights of the itinerary include a May 6 appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. In Österreich werden in Zukunft jährlich 10.000 zusätzliche Wohnungen benötigt. Das prognostiziert eine neue WIFO-Studie. Gründe seien die veränderte Bevölkerungsentwicklung und die Zuwanderung.
