Steely Dan Unveils Spring Tour Dates - Billboard
Steely Dan will return to the road for a spring/summer run that begins May 5 in Memphis. The group, which also toured last summer, has dates on tap through June 10 at New York’s Beacon Theatre, the last of a three-night stand at the venue. Other highlights of the itinerary include a May 6 appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. According to a spokesperson, the tour set list may include songs from group member Donald Fagen’s 2006 solo album “Morph the Cat” and colleague Walter Becker’s in-progress solo effort. [more...]

In Österreich werden in Zukunft jährlich 10.000 zusätzliche Wohnungen benötigt. Das prognostiziert eine neue WIFO-Studie. Gründe seien die veränderte Bevölkerungsentwicklung und die Zuwanderung.
Als besondere Herausforderung beim Wohnbau nennt das WIFO die fortschreitende Alterung der Gesellschaft. Aber auch der Umweltschutz spielt eine immer wichtigere Rolle. [mehr...]
